		<description>This makes me very happy.  California should be ashamed of themselves. I hope this change in Iowa opens some more eyes in the conservative midwest.  I don&#039;t see why it should affect employee benefits.  

It should be handled the same way if a straight couple got married. If they don&#039;t then they will be in the same place they were before Iowa supported gay marriage - which would just be a shame and a waste.</description>
