California should be ashamed of themselves. I hope this change in Iowa opens some more eyes in the conservative midwest. I don't see why it should affect employee benefits. It should be handled the same way if a straight couple got married. If they don't then they will be in the same place they were before Iowa supported gay marriage - which would just be a shame and a waste. This makes me very happy.
