I am recovering two pairs, one with leopard print fabric from a hideous shirt I will never wear again (but will make the cutest shoes!) and the other pair with a purple bandanna that has a really neat pattern here’s a great tutorial on how to recover worn out flats the next time you’re jonesing for a new pair ;-)

Last Halloween I was abroad and seriously on a budget, I made an Indian costume out of a 4 euro huge men's tshirt. It doesn't sound like much but it was one of my favorite/cutest costumes. Since I didn't have the money to spend, it forced me to take a more creative approach than just buying the typical store costumes. On the other hand last night 6pm.com had an amazing shoe sale and instead of taking advantage of the opportunity to spend under 10 bucks for a pair of shoes, I bought 7 pairs...whoops. I guess I'm not quite there yet either, but sometimes it's fun to treat yourself! I can totally relate to this!!
