I had an unsuccessful surgery on my leg in 2008 and now can not bend my right leg. I have some difficulty walking and must use a cane. I know that there must be some exercise that I can do that will strenghthen my core and stamina but don't know where to start. Can you give me some advice?

I am 52, but feel in my mind 30, BUT! This is a question that no one ever addresses on any diet, weight loss or exercise show, ad or magazine. I have had surgery on both knees and both shoulders, an elbow and the nerves in my back burned, what are some exercises that I can do at home and also at the gym. I know walking is good. I want to loose 50 lbs. HELP PLEASE, MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE!!!!
DREAMING OF WHAT I CAN BE :)

Bob,
I was really puzzled by something I saw on the show last week and wonder if you can explain it to me.
The last two contestants were getting to the end of the 5K treadmill contest. The man was ahead and seemed to be moving faster. The young woman came from behind and beat him in the 5K but she appeared to be taking slower strides. Some of the other contestants were standing at her side cheering for her and one commented that she would pull ahead because of how she was moving on the treadmill compared to the other contestant. Can you help me understand what was happening there? Thanks!

Why is it that they weigh the contestants in at night. When should you weigh yourself in the morning or at night.

How do contestants get rid of the extra skin after losing so much weight? Exercise won't do it but they all look very trim. My friend lost 125 pounds under a supervised program and she has tons of loose skin in her abdominal area.

Bob always has completely bad-ass wrist wear... What are his 5 favorite time pieces? I know it's not fitness related but I spent a little time each show trying to see what he's wearing. I'M JEALOUS!!

Hi, I am a 71 year old grandma. I watch and enjoy your show every week, and you have inspired me to do something besides sit on the couch and watch TV.
I bought a 3 wheeled bike about a month ago. I am now up to 6 1/2 miles at one time, and I have never enjoyed anything so much as I do riding. I have lost weight, with cutting down on everything I eat, and still have 50 pounds to go. my question to you is, is riding my "trike", as good of exercise as a regular bike ?
thanking you in advance, Carol
PS.... you sholud have a show for just old, fat folks like me. We can all use it.
