I didn't realize people in the blogosphere felt that if you are blogging to eventually make money it is a bad thing. Interesting... Who are these people?! Doesn't everyone want more money, freedom and the opportunity to design their own career path? Blogging is a great start to these things!

Nicole,

This is a subject that I think deserves alot of attention. On the one hand people in the blogosphere are continually talking about passion and how it needs to be a part of everything you do. But on the other we say that if we are blogging to eventually make money then we're setting ourselves up to fail. It's an interesting paradox because many of the things we do in our blogs tie to everything you are talking about here. Our blogs serve as a platform to get us to all the things we want: money, freedom, career choices, etc.
