Tips For Effectively Advertising Your Business On Social Media

social media

Social media platforms can be an extremely effective place to advertise your business.  With more than 600 million active users per day, it is one of the best places with the highest visibility to get your business seen and heard.

Using these platforms in order to increase people seeing and hearing about your business is something that you should use to your advantage.  Make sure that you are using these social media sites to the best of your abilities by following these tips.

Start a Facebook Ad

Starting a Facebook ad is a great way to get your page visible to people that may not have otherwise come across it.  Facebook gives you the option of starting an advertising campaign by simply using your credit card, inputting your demographic goals, and choosing the amount of time you want the ad to run.

Facebook offers you insights as to the countries in which people are viewing your page from.  You can customize your ad with your logo or photo of your choosing.  Once the person clicks the ad they will be redirected to the page of your choice.  You could also advertise on your Facebook page with some great photos from a professional such as J Knowles advertising photographer. These photos could also be used on your website and on your other social media accounts to promote your brand.

Start a Facebook Group

Starting a group is a great way to alert other users of your products and keep a conversation going with your customers.

One of the most useful aspects of social media in terms of promoting your business is keeping an open line of communication between you and your customers.  Customers like to be seen and heard, so make sure that you are responding and interacting at all times.  If this is too much of a task for you, you may want to consider outsourcing to someone that runs all of your social media accounts.

Get an Instagram Account

Instagram is no longer just for photos.  Some businesses run their entire business solely on the platform.  By utilizing hashtags you can build your audience by thousands daily.

Make sure that your Instagram account is visually appealing and you use high-quality images which form a cohesive vision.  Since Instagram is mostly visual, it is essential not to choose poorly composed images which are grainy or pixelated.  This will make your business look less credible.

You don’t have to have the fanciest camera in order to achieve this.  You can use stock photos or simply your smartphone with a few filters.  Taking a look at other successful Instagram accounts is a great way to get inspired and grasp an idea of what you should be posting.

Try posting once a day, to begin with, and gradually work your way up to 2 or 3.  Make sure that you follow other accounts to grow your following and always encourage interaction by posting engaging content.
