Cuba happens to be one of those tourist destination sites that you don’t want to miss traveling to, especially if you are an adventurous traveler. With very many places to visit and beautiful scenery, the country has so much to offer with numerous activities that you can actively participate in and make your trip more memorable.

Let’s take a look at the tips for traveling to Cuba and the top 10 things that you should include in your to-do list if you are planning on going to Cuba.

Get ready to dance

Nothing is as sweet and soothing like Cuban music and dancing. Havana is famous for live music that is played both on the street as well as in bars and clubs. Cubans love music and dancing is just one way to enjoy the Cuban culture.

Learn how to roll a cigar

Cigars are Cubans’ most exported products and many love smoking them either for fun or just to feel good about them. Being the manufacturers of one of the top grade cigars from the finest tobacco, use the opportunity to learn how they roll this famous product in one of their Habanos at a low entry cost.

Classic car ride

Cuba has an exquisite collection of old vintage cars that have never run out of style. The cars can be spotted right from the airport with a classic variety to pick from.

Lined with white sandy beaches, Cuba offers a beautiful destination for couples as well as travelers looking for a calm experience. Beaches like Varadero are well situated with easy access to accommodation.

Visit Havana

The vintage cars all over Havana are such a beauty and you can use them for tours all over the town adding a colorful range of photos to your travel collection. The Morro Castle in Havana is a fort that offers a scenic view of the city and a great spot for photos.

Party in Santiago de Cuba

Santiago de Cuba is a wonderful city with an air of fun and history. Party lovers can enjoy evening parties at the Tropicana Santiago and a great view of the Cespedes Park.

Visit Topes National Park

Topes de Collantes located outside Trinidad offers space for hikers with beautiful waterfalls. Aside from making local tour arrangements, horse rides are also available to take you through the park.

Eat at a local Cuban cafeteria

Cuba has restaurants for tourists as well as cafeterias that serve the local delicacies. To find out more about their cuisine, try out some of the local foods especially the Cuban sandwiches.

When you get to Cuba, do not just limit yourself to one place. Walk around and interact with the locals who are quite friendly to learn more about the Cuban lifestyle and favorite stuff.
