What to Wear on Your Period to Feel Comfy AF

Many women survive the nightmare of looking at their wardrobe and thinking “I have nothing to wear” every day. We all know how hard it is to make a great outfit, which can make people around us turn their heads, without destroying our body parts. We all want to look amazing, but feel comfortable. And the comfortable is the main focus of that special time in the month when we are on our period.

No one wants to be tortured by high heels while trying to cope with excruciating cramps. Staying fashionable during this time of the month is hard, but not impossible, so here is some inspiration.

Boyfriend jeans

The best option you have when you are on your period is to put on a pair of boyfriend jeans. They are loose enough to accommodate all the bloating, as well as other symptoms, such as the unexpected weight gain. You can mix them with sneakers and a shirt and then add a leather jacket on top for a casual look.

Joggers

Another interesting option you have when it comes to period fashion are the joggers. They won’t make you look sloppy and they can be dressed up or down, depending on your mood and where you go. They also have another benefit: you can sleep in them.

Oversized sweatshirts

Oversized shirts are a blessing for any girl during the period, as they allow you to skip wearing a bra. You can pair it with boyfriend jeans and wear a collared shirt underneath the sweater to look well put together. At the same time, you can wear the oversized sweatshirt with a puffy skirt to make it look more feminine and so on. There are plenty of options!

T-shirt dresses

A T-shirt dress is the perfect alternative to the regular office dress. Most of these dresses are oversized, so you will be able to skip wearing the bra, without looking unprofessional. For extra security you can wear a pair of leggings with it, to keep everything in place. This outfit is a great option for girls who can’t wear jeans to work, but want to be comfortable during the uncomfortable time of the month.

Long cardigan

A long cardigan in a dark color or black is the perfect piece for hiding potential stains and keeping you warm. Because they are versatile, cardigans can be worn with jeans, dresses or jeggings, so make sure you have one in your wardrobe.

Comfortable shoes

When you are dealing with cramps you don’t want to be tormented by blisters, so a pair of comfortable shoes is going to complete your period-friendly outfit. To make sure they can be worn with as many clothes as possible, aim for a neutral color, such as cream or black. The shoes can be sneakers or heels, as long as they are comfortable, it doesn’t actually matter.

When you are on your period always focus on being comfortable, as this is what can make your day easier. Ultimately, you can wear anything you want on your period, as long as you feel good.
