Should I Hire a Consultant to Handle My AdWords Campaign?

AdWords experts keep up with the newest developments by following relevant blogs, journals, and message boards online. They may also visit industry trade exhibitions several times a year, as well as networking events, and they will likely have a small circle of friends and colleagues they can turn to for guidance and to keep up with the newest developments in their field.

Who is an AdWords consultant?

You have the option of working with a full-service agency, a solopreneur, or a part-time freelancer. In other words, you get what you paid for. While hiring a Google AdWords consultant may increase your budget, you will have access to experts in a wide variety of fields and superior technology. A freelancer may save you a lot of money, but they will have to put in a lot of hours on the job in their free time. There is always some sacrifice that has to be made. However, if you’re also hiring someone to manage other aspects of your web marketing strategy and they seem up to the task, it’s probably for the best to have that person or agency handle both aspects.

Search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising are always competing for the same pool of marketing funds. To compete effectively, businesses must constantly adapt to the ever-shifting landscape created by the ever-evolving search engine algorithms. Search engine optimization takes time, and firms in highly competitive fields may never achieve and maintain their desired page one positions. That’s why more resources are being poured into AdWords campaign management efforts.

Paid search marketing has the potential to be both thrilling and scary

An AdWords Consultant, if used correctly, has the potential to dramatically improve your company’s success by increasing traffic, sales, and income. But if you mess up, you may waste thousands of dollars for nothing. The alluring world of ads, however, is not as simple as it first seems.

Monitoring for click fraud is not something a rookie would know to do. Click fraud is something you should constantly be on the lookout for. It’s also possible that you’re seeing clicks on your advertising that were created automatically but were not caused by click scam but instead were the result of a bot attempting to crawl your site.

Transparency is important

It’s important to keep track of how much money is going into the campaign itself and the amount that is going toward Google AdWords consultation costs. Some companies, such as Reach Local, are notorious for keeping more than half of your budget in management fees while allocating less than half to real advertisements (they also handle an estimate of above 150 clients per account executive, so you may not be receiving much attention for your money). In order to maintain trust with their clients, every reputable agency will be upfront about their advertising budget and associated costs. Otherwise, it’s a huge red flag.

You see, the changing mechanics of a promotional tool and the way it works can’t be properly described by the promises and issues that come with PPC. There’s also the possibility that you just can’t devote the necessary time and energy to fully grasping all of the nuances involved. There is no question that digital marketing can be profitable, but success depends on having access to expert advice.
