THE GOOD SON by Jacquelyn Mitchard

How does a mother’s unconditional love continue when her son has committed the most horrible crime?

THE ONES WE KEEP by Bobbie Jean Huff

How can she turn her world back upside right when everything feels upside down?

BASE NOTES by Lara Elena Donnelly

THE YOUNGER WIFE by Sally Hepworth

Love domestic suspense and books about the secrets families keep? Check out The Younger Wife by Sally Hepworth. Stephen is looking forward to getting remarried but there are a couple of things standing in the way – his first wife, who is in a facility with dementia, and his adult daughters who don’t want him to remarry. Sisters Tully and Rachel think Heather is a gold digger looking for a sugar daddy and they are bound and determined to stop their father from marrying her. While their mother cannot speak for herself, and family secrets buried deep, will Tully and Rachel be able to stop ‘the younger wife’ from closing in?

GIRL IN ICE by Erica Ferencik

Girl in Ice is the story about Val, a successful linguist who travels to a remote island off Greenland’s coast after she gets news of her brother’s suicide. But there’s more to the mystery, including a frozen girl who was recently discovered and thawed out who speaks a language no one can understand. It’s up to Val to figure out what the girl is trying to say, and whether or not her brother died by his own hand or by accident.

She’s excited to work with her aunt in her sewing business and soon becomes enthralled by the wives of her aunt’s clientele – women who are married to the tobacco big-wigs. When the wives are struck with some serious health problems, Maddie wants to believe it’s only a coincidence – until she stumbles on some important evidence to prove otherwise. Should she report what she knows, or keep quiet in a town where everyone relies on Big Tobacco
