I Hate January. Let’s go Shopping.

Ever since elementary school I’ve hated the month of January.  Here in Chicago it’s bleak, cold, dark and seemingly never-ending.  For as much as I’ve been swept up in the January “it’s a new year, let’s eat super healthy and get in shape” bandwagon, the factors above typically intimidate me from leaving the house to walk to the gym (I know, so lame and such an excuse).

So instead, I find myself coming up with creative winter-friendly projects at home. These projects typically revolve around finding ways to spend money, feeding my Pinterest addiction while wrapped in a blanket and creating little collages of outfits I’ve put together.  Yep – I’m a super productive member of society.

Anyways,  it was perfect timing when Spiegel.com reached out to me to ask my opinion on their clothes.  I immediately had a flashback to the huge Spiegel catalogs my Mom used to get when I was a kid.  Remember those anyone? (And remember the period of time people couldn’t just shop online?)  Then I remember pleasantly re-discovering Spiegel again when there was an outlet store at a mall near my college town.  Maybe it’s pure nostalgia, but I’ve always liked their stuff and today is no exception.  It doesn’t hurt that they always seem to be having a sale too.  As I write this post, everything online is 40% off.

I put together a few winter outfits for you ladies: one work outfit and some winter wedding outfit ideas.  All the clothes on the boards below are from Spiegel.com.  All the accessories are from, my favorite place ever, Stella & Dot.
