Let’s Go International

As you read this, I’m beginning a journey of epic proportions. I’m traveling to Spain by myself for 11 days.

While my parents are complete wrecks about the whole thing, I couldn’t be more excited to travel on my own- it just allows more opportunities to do what I want to do, go with the flow, and meet new people.

So this meet new people part- we’ve all seen it in the movies- The Holiday, Midnight in Paris, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Yes, I went there,) but does it really happen?? Is an international romance really possible?

Now to get it straight, I am NOT traveling across the world in hopes to find a Spanish suitor who feeds me tapas and teaches me flamenco.

But that would be fun right?

So what I want to know is- have you had a Roman Holiday? Are you Ross and did you meet an Emily? And if so, did you just leave it behind or bring those foreign feelings home with you?

I’ve had an international romance before, but I was the local. And when emotions came into play, it got complicated and difficult. I’m just too realistic maybe.

So on this adventure abroad, I’m just going to embrace it all. I’m doing this for myself (something that everyone should do!) and just going to have the time of my life.

So let me hear about these affairs abroad! This could be fun.

Let’s talk

Happy Thursday y’all!
