5 Recommended Podcasts That Aspiring Business Owners Should Check Out

Are you listening to podcasts yet? You should be! Podcasts are one of the most fantastic things about technology, especially for business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs and career mavens.

We’re all undoubtedly busy women while journeying to our dreams, but the great thing about podcasts is that you can listen to them (and learn tremendously) while completing other tasks. Hello multitasking!

Career growth cannot happen without acquiring new skills and furthering your education. Your collection of podcast subscriptions and the continual learning can potentially be as beneficial as a formal certification/additional degree — if you’re devoted!

I’ve taken down endless notes from successful entrepreneur interviews, I’ve mapped out my side hustle and business plans, and I’ve also improved my blog. The insight, resources, and inspiration I’ve gleaned from podcasts have had a positive impact on my life, and I know that impact will only become more dramatic the more I implement what I’ve processed.

No matter your specific niche or industry, there are likely several high quality podcasts that can help further your education, thus improving your chances of upward movement in your field. For entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs specifically, here are five of my favorite podcast series — they’re all the real deal!

  1. Smart Passive Income with Pat Flynn (Business | Blogging | Lifestyle)
  2. Biz Chix with Natalie Eckdahl (Management & Marketing)
  3. Biz Women Rock! with Katie Krimitsos (Management & Marketing)
  4. Travel Like a Boss with Johnny FD (Ecommerce | Travel | Location Independent Entrepreneur)
  5. Dreamer’s Paradise with Kimber Lee (Entrepreneur | Business | Careers)

Listen during your commute to work, while you’re at you desk, while you’re perusing through the grocery store, while you’re getting dressed in the morning. And you don’t necessarily have to download them to your phone if you’re limited on GBs; many podcasts can be streamed through Soundcloud and other sites.
