Fondue Restaurant in Bansko is unique for the resort. It is designed in the traditional style of Alpine restaurants – massive wood paneling, carvings, appliqués, fireplace, deer head, decorative horns, dimmed lighting, wine bar, etc.
At the same time, the restaurant is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. These are, for example, the extractor hoods above each of the tables. Since the served Swiss fondue, various meats cooked on a plate, etc. are prepared at the visitors’ table, the extractor hoods are telescopic – they descend from the ceiling over the prepared dish to gather the smells and afterwards go back up.
Various types of Fondue are available – cheese, fat and meat, broth, and three types of chocolate Fondue; meat cooked on a plate, also fish and seafood; Raclette cheese.
The restaurant has 44 seats, divided into central tables and booths, and is open during the winter season – opens on November 15 and accepts visitors until March 31st.
At the seaside… in the Pirin mountain
Leonardo Bansko is open all year-round, it is part of the aqua complex at Lucky Bansko SPA & Relax. In summer, one of the restaurant’s walls opens to reveal two outdoor pools.
One is for adults, the other is for children and has a water slide. The water is kept warm and there is a life-guard. It is an exciting experience with professional sound, pleasant and not too loud music which can be heard under the water.
The fact that the pools are side by side adds even more to the tranquility of the parents – the children have fun in front of their eyes.
Visitors can enjoy a good time at the pool by ordering food and drinks from the restaurant. At their disposal there are comfortable chaise-lounges, next to them there are tables and luxury tents. In the restaurant itself, the pleasant view of the pools has an additionally relaxing effect.
Leonardo Bansko is bright, spacious, with lots of greenery around the tables and a discreet fragrance of flowers. In the winter it is cozy, suitable for a big company and for a romantic evening of two with the fireplace in the background.
