right colors

Colors, whether vivid, light or subdued, add an interesting layer to some things. They can make a difference, whether in setting the mood or sending a message. The old ways of humans assigned certain meanings to every shade, with symbolisms that can both fascinate and caution. Clothing is not immune from that. In fact, the clothes you wear have become a form of self-expression.

It is not uncommon to learn about your personality by looking at the color of clothes you wear. Most people have favorite colors that make their wardrobe choices unique. Some prefer darker hues. Others opt for vibrant shades. Whatever your choices are, one thing is certain: your preferred color is a reflection of your thoughts, feelings, and character.

 The Vitality of Red

There’s nothing like red to emanate intensity and passion. People who wear red are usually extroverted and outgoing. They exude dominance, impulsion, and aggression. They also tend to speak their minds without qualms. If you are planning to stage a seduction, then red is the best choice as it can draw the eyes. Red will do the talking and seducing.

The Calmness of Blue

Many people find tranquillity by simply looking at the sky or the sea. The color blue signifies calmness. It also means peace, loyalty, and security. Those who love to dress up in blue radiate confidence. They are usually sure about what they want. They are also known to have a deep sense of loyalty.

The deeper shade reflects independence and self-control. The soft hues, like aqua and turquoise, can be soothing and reassuring. This is the color highly recommended when you are going to a job interview as it exudes self-assurance, prompting trust and respect from the interviewer.

The Charisma of Green

The color of nature, green has the ability to soothe and comfort. People who wear green usually have a healthy and balanced life. Although they are mostly social, they give off a mysterious and irresistible vibe. They are also the ones who advocate for the environment. If you want to be well-liked and make a statement about your social standing, then green can do all that and more.

The Exuberance of Yellow

Yellow oozes with cheer and positivity. Dressing up in yellow during rainy days can surely drive the gloom away. Those who love yellow are usually levelheaded, consistent, and goal-oriented. They are intelligent and creative. The color of sunshine, yellow can help you restore your focus and keep you inspired. Wear it at work if you want an extra boost.

The Elegance of Black

Black is the classic color that can be worn on almost any occasion. Versatile, timeless, and elegant, it conveys authority and a sense of power. Every woman must have her own little black dress, and any man must keep black formal clothing in his closet. It is the go-to color of most people because of its versatility and timelessness.

Black signifies a strong will, analytical mind, and independent spirit. Wear black at work to reflect leadership, but be careful not to overdo it, or it will give off a harsh and unapproachable vibe.

The Purity of White

The color of innocence, white symbolizes confidence and optimism. People who wear white tend to be open in social settings and reliable in dire situations. They also seem to convey a new beginning, looking at things with fresh eyes, and the appetite to take on new challenges. Pick white if you are low on self-esteem and want to appear courageous and positive.

Color Everywhere

There are many colors to choose from, and you should never limit yourself into one hue. But it cannot be denied that we all have this one color we go to when we run out of ideas. It is not because we are playing safe, but rather, we have found that one color that suits our personality best.

So next time you are thinking of having a wardrobe overhaul, think twice before confining yourself into one color. Keep colors that can help you set the mood and express the different parts of you. Just be careful not to shell out too much.

You can always shop wisely. And if you sell clothes online, make sure to include the color personalities in your marketing. It will give your online shop the needed character to attract customers who are interested in the meaning of colors.
