If you are like virtually everybody else in the world, your relationships go through ups and downs. When you are stuck in the downs, it’s easy to lose sight of the good times. The tried and true. It still works. Find a local relationship therapist and meet face to face to work through your issues. If you are unsure about doing it online, this is the option for you.
This is better than ignoring the issue, but it is also very difficult. It is difficult to be rational when you are in the thick of emotions. It can work, but it takes a lot of effort and patience. Don’t be surprised if you find your emotions frequently getting in the way if you try the DIY approach. And don’t be afraid to admit that it may be better to get outside help, either in an office or as online relationship help.
