The law profession has many facets and categories. If being in the field of law spikes your interest, then you can try to first become a solicitor. It would be your job to advise your clients about law and their legal needs. You will be catering to a wide array of clients, including individuals, groups, and corporations. If you are a great communicator, have great people skills, are able to analyse a big amount of information, and have the confidence to tackle challenging tasks –  you will be fit the job nicely.

Solicitors have a multitude of roles. They are responsible for facing the client, which mostly involves meetings, negotiations, expert advice, drafting of legal papers, coordination with all parties, and many more.

Once qualified, they can work for themselves in private practice, in house for organizations, court offices, and many other groups. Finding solicitor jobs is easy if you know where to look and if you are able to prove that you have the experience and skill for the job.

Depending on your strength you can work in different areas of legal practice. You can defend individuals who are having personal issues concerning property, injury claims, assets and many more. You can also work for commercial clients who are looking to settle cases, go into corporate transactions, and handle disputes with their employees and partners. You can also defend civil rights.

The world of legal practice is a challenging yet rewarding place to be in. If you have dreams of pursuing a career in the legal industry, being a solicitor can be for you!
